Solutions And Results
"The finest eloquence is that which gets things done." -- David Lloyd George
Through our comprehensive services, we find solutions, not problems.
Our philosophy is that every problem has a solution, and it's our job to find the best and most efficient way to overcome hurdles and reach that solution.
99% of Strauss & Troy clients surveyed say they would recommend us to others.
(Could that 1% be statistical error?)
That's a big complement, and one we don't take lightly. We credit it, in part, to the "law of the farm," a common-sense principle by which we try to live and work: "Prepare the ground, sow the seed, cultivate it, water, and then gradually nurture growth and development to full maturity.
There just aren't any shortcuts to solid client partnering. Client relationships take continual care, commitment and concern. We don't forget that. And, we don't forget you.
At Strauss & Troy we ask why... and why not.

Diverse Practice Areas
Our proven, skilled teams of attorneys and staff are knowledgeable and experienced in the specific areas you require.
Our proven professionals have solid expertise in all aspects of ...History
Strauss & Troy was founded 1953, when four attorneys made a good decision to practice law together. Our founders were: Orvil Troy, his son Ken Troy, Gene Rollman and Lucian Strauss. Our first office location was in the Fountain Square building which was located where the 5/3 Center is now.
Legend has it that Lucian Strauss wanted to call the firm Strauss Troy Troy and Rollman because there were two Troy's. Ken Strauss thought that was a little too much so, they shortened it to Strauss Troy and Rollman. Partner Gene Rollman left the firm in the 19080s. Ever since that time, we've been simply known as Strauss & Troy.
The firm moved every time it got a little too big for its quarters. The first move was to the First National Bank Building. When we outgrew that space, we moved to what was then called the Central Trust Center. Then in 1999, we moved to where we are now, which is the Federal Reserve Bank Building at 150 E. Fourth Street in downtown Cincinnati, OH. Our Northern Kentucky office opened in 1987 and we moved ino the Covington, KY, RiverCenter complex in 1990.
Engaged & Invested In Our Community
We are devoted to our clients, to the law and to each other in the firm. We still believe that you can run a business like a family and care greatly for everyone. This care also spreads to our commitment in the community. We have earned a reputation as a strong supporter in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky communities.
In the early 90s, a group of Strauss and Troy employees got together and formed the "Make A Difference" team. The team represents our belief that we should reach out to the community and make a difference in any way that we can.
One of the hallmarks of our community commitment is our sponsorship of Market On The Square which brings a variety of vendors to Cincinnati's downtown Fountain Square during the summer months.
Our attorneys and staff are active participants in a vast array of civic, academic, religious, professional and political organizations. Our firm's interest in the community is reflected in our collections of specially-commissioned artwork by noted artist Gregory Lindsay Thorp. You'll find his photographs of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky displayed throughout our offices.
