Labor and Employment Law

The lawyers of the Labor and Employment Law Practice Group at Strauss & Troy have substantial experience representing employers in all aspects of labor and employment law and litigation, as well as in pension, benefits, and executive compensation law, and occupational safety and health law.

The firm's labor and employment lawyers practice on a local, regional, and national basis. Members of the practice group are admitted to practice in both Ohio and Kentucky courts and the courts of other states, and also before the U.S. Supreme Court, and several U.S. Courts of Appeals and U.S. District Courts.

We empower clients

We think too many labor and employment lawyers view their jobs as telling their clients what they cannot or should not do. Our objective is to say "Yes," meaning that we work with our labor and employment law clients to find practical and lawful ways for them to achieve their business objectives.

We help clients be proactive instead of defensive

Many labor and employment law problems can be managed with foresight. We believe strongly in working with clients to anticipate potential problems and to address them before they develop into expensive and time-consuming litigation. Specifically, we work with clients to audit their compliance with the wide range of labor and employment laws, conduct supervisor and employee training, and implement best human resources policies and practices.
