On Friday, October 3, Strauss & Troy employees again participated in Lee National Denim Day, wearing their favorite jeans and the color pink as a symbol of solidarity in the fight against breast cancer. As part of the effort, employees also donated nearly $300 to this very worthy cause. Our donations, along with those of other participants across the country, will be used for the following projects:

• funding research to create more effective, less toxic treatments for breast cancer and to increase patient access to some of the most significant clinical trials in the nation.
• developing a blood test for earlier detection of breast cancer via the Breast Cancer Biomarker Discovery Project, a multiyear effort led by world-class scientists.
• helping the National Breast Cancer Coalition create web-based, print, and other resources to provide evidence-based information about breast cancer to the public.
