Market On The Square

Strauss & Troy is pleased to be the exclusive sponsor of the Market on Fountain Square every Tuesday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm throughout the summer. The Market features the kind of products you would find at Cincinnati’s Findlay Market – fresh produce, food for lunch, flowers and unusual gifts – and it creates a festive setting for people to mingle and relax during their lunch hour.

This Strauss & Troy sponsorship grew out of our relationship with Bill Donabedian of 3CDC, Managing Director of Fountain Square; Bill does a masterful job of creating activity and excitement on the Square 365 days a year. Our firm sponsored free ice skating on the Square last New Year’s Eve, which turned out to be a grand success. So when Bill came to us with this new opportunity we jumped at the idea – and we also agreed to sponsor colorful café umbrellas covering the Square every summer day.

Strauss & Troy has long been a supporter of the City – and has been actively involved for many years in the revitalization of Downtown, which is our neighborhood. We also have a longtime collaboration with David Ginsburg and Downtown Cincinnati, Inc., who have been instrumental in these efforts. We believe that having this kind of festive market activity on the Square – the heart and soul of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky – is an important part of having a safe and vibrant city. We hope friends and clients of the firm share our enjoyment of the Market this summer.
