STRAUSS & TROY NAMES HELDMAN PRESIDENT

Cincinnati, OH, February 25, 2009—Strauss & Troy announced today that the firm has elected James G. Heldman as president. Heldman succeeds William V. Strauss who held the position for 15 years; Strauss has been elected chairman of the firm and will continue to serve on the board of directors. In the new position, Strauss will focus on strategic planning for the firm.

Heldman has served as the chairman of the firm's Management Committee for the past 15 years. He earned his bachelor of arts, cum laude, from Harvard University and his juris doctorate, with honors, from George Washington University. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Ohio, and the United States Supreme Court.

Heldman is a member of the Cincinnati, Ohio State, District of Columbia, and American Bar Associations. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Overseers of Hebrew Union College, a member of the Jewish Federation's Finance and Administration Committee, and is Executive Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Cincinnati Tennis Association. He has served on the boards of Rockdale Temple, the Jewish Vocational Service, the American Jewish Committee, the Harvard Club of Cincinnati, and Inner City Youth Opportunities, and is a past president of Losantiville Country Club.

An Amberley Village resident, Heldman was recently named an Ohio Super Lawyer for the sixth year. He also was recognized as a "Hometown Hero" by the Cincinnati Enquirer in 2000.
